My lights....Need Help!!!

Well something went wrong lastnight with my lights. First i my HIDs went off and then my frd told me my LEDs are off. Both of those are on the passenger side.
I tested the ballast and bulbs and both are ok. All the signals are ok. But the wierd thing is when i step on the brakes, the LEDs turn on.

Can anyone help me?

im no expert but it sounds like you shorted something... or the wiring for something is exposed, or severed...

the taillight issue I had once on my old car and it was the result of me grounding the wrong wire, and blowing a fuse... but I am not sure why the LED's would still work if you hit the brake..

sounds like a fuse. I had a similar issue a while back, and I had blown a fuse.

Do you know where the fuse is located? Is it the one under the hood? are there 2 fuse that controls each side? or just 1 fuse controls all ?

I'm guessing it is your exhaust..

if u have some time, grab ur book, or open the box and see what the labels say, perhaps you will have it solved before the tech gurus get on here and make a suggestion?

I got the problem fixed. Went to markham mazda and they said they will charge me $92 flat for diagnostic test. Then went to jimmy and quickly found out it was only a blown fuse.

Glad to hear you got it fixed, kinda a funny when you'd accel the leds came on. That will fake someone out at the strip...that and your quiet exhaust ;)
