It's been a while since I've posted (some of you that I'm close to know why, for the rest of you, I'm not going to get into the details...)...

I recently got a new ride, as the train commute from where I'm at right now is KILLING me...

I have recently purchased a 1983 Yamaha Maxim 400... I've always wanted a motorcycle, and after a few weeks of looking around (and calling and emailing), I found one...

Low km's (21,000), in excellent condition, and I just got my M1 this morning. I'm going to pick up the bike (as well as a helmet and other gear) today or tomorrow, just waiting for the insurance policy to take effect later this afternoon...

I'll bring the bike out later this week or next to a meet, weather depending.

Let the fun begin!

Do they still make bikes that look anything like that anymore? All the Japanese bikes I see these days look like those racing bikes painted in some glow-in-the-dark colour.

A friend of mine bought a similar Yahama bike last year. Also an early 80's model.

Nice ride Justin. Wouldn't it have been cheaper if you just signed your organ donor card? :chuckle

This is a good starter "cruiser" bike. You can pick one up brand new for about $5000.00.

Well it's not a road bike, but a rare 1985 Yamaha BW200.
(200cc dirt bike with atv tires; 12" wide rear)

Here's a pic of my rides (yes its me riding):

Mazda 3 winter mode and Yamaha BW200 being stored for winter.
(I've got a custom MBRP Powertech4 exhaust on the bike)
