View Full Version : Remember when you drive, you're representing all mazda 3 drivers

During these days when police are cracking down on street racers and the public more sensitive to aggressive drivers, it has become more easier to be profiled as an aggressive drive and/or street racer.
Saw a black Mazda 3 Sedan yesterday (red tail lights, looks stock with 2-3 passengers) in my rear-view mirror waiving in and out of traffic. I was thinking whether or not to be a jerk and block him. But knowing being self-righteous driving will only increase the chances of an accident, I moved over and let him pass.
Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is, please watch how you drive, we don't want to have the rep that Civic Drivers have.

You mean everyone doesn't drive 2 feet behind the car in front doing 120? :)
I think I'm an assertive driver... at least I hope... haha.

Haven't seen u drive =p.
Jokes aside, the only time I see everyone riding ppl's ass at 120 is rush hour.
But when I saw that mz3 it was 8pm sunday. The worse thing was he had at least 2 passengers.

some people are jerkoffs. I only rip on people when they do it to me, so its less street racing... more road rage. :chuckle

I admit sometimes I drive too close, but most of the time I'm a good driver. In the stop n go traffic during rush hour I keep about 10-15 feet away. But that's like.. 1st / 2nd gear speeds.
When other people are in my car I really take it down to a level where I don't want them to freak out but feel safe. No following too closely, speeding, accelerating, quick lane changes etc.

I am guilty of following entirely too close, its my solution for invoking my road rage... noone cuts me off... no anger!

Yeah, I do the same in stop and go, but when stopped my distance is probably 2-3 feet.
When younger I had a problem with my driving style. But now, with people in the car, I drive a lot more passive.

carpet tacs are cool!! haha james bond!
I'll be sure to cut you off the next time I see you Matt. Where do you live again? :)
Speaking of cutting off... Nothing like a lady in a 4x4 thinking she owns the road. Doing about 50km/h on the onramp to 410 from I forget where (courtney park?) and I'm doing about 100km/h She decides that she would like to merge into traffic at 50 in front of me (no signaling, no speeding up, nothing) when there was nothing behind me. There wasn't much room either, so I was on the horn right away and she moved back in.. Changed lanes behind me and was flipping me the bird while mouthing off. I stuck my hand out the moonroof, up went the middle finger and a little twirl to go with it.

i got cut off by a ford focus today, and i squeezed him out of the exit lane at 401/mcowan, and the guy behind me helped, we actually made the dude miss the exit.
i looked over and he was freakin out as he drove on past :)

haha +1 and +1.
I get what happens to Fini alot and the moonroof comes in handly!!
But like wise, I thank people that let me in, I just find myself thank ppl that didn't let me in on purpose, lol.
I will let anyone in who signals properly, and where I don't have to jam my brakes from 100-50 in 2 seconds... I'm not a hard ass. If I don't have to burn too much gas or brakes.. I'll let you in!
BTW Matt, nice double teaming! haha..

I used to be a jerk that doesn't signal. Then I found out how annoying it was when someone did that too me. Took me a while to change that habit, but its changed =).

i know there is a level of personal satisfaction when someone cuts u off when you take revenge,
but as everyone will admit it is a stupid thing to do!
be safe and trust that the asshats will find another asshat to crash into at some point!
I agree Broli,
But it's sad when you are driving and then you see first hand or hear on the radio on your way to work "7 car collision" or "multiple vehicle collision" Once the idiot crashes he brings down everyone else.
Dunno if you heard or seen but ...about last month (i think?) there was like a 7 car crash at the exit for Steeles and the 410. Sure enough it was a heavily modified mustang that was totally mutilated. Traffic either had to go onto the offramp for Steeles or weave around the battered cars to get by.

I was watching a CityTv News sometime last week and they did a little report on street racing.
They went on to say "These two have been pulled over for street racing" ... the camera then zoomed in on a Blue Mazda 3 Sedan 2004-2007 . hahaha

I absolutely love my moon roof for this... it comes in so handy.... open the roof up comes the bird... and booyah its flipped.... so much more clear for the other driver to see hehehehehe.... its just soo stupid cuz if people just took a few extra seconds and let people in, things would move so much faster.. the one I CANT FUC*ING stand are those ass hats who don't let people in.. they see you.. but they keep moving forward... to them i really flip the bird *makes the motion* :flaming:flaming

hehehe.... if my gf is in the car and I get cut off... she's usually on the horn faster then me, she'll lean across and start freaking out more then me.... and I have to tell her to relax.... when she's driving... :blush i hide under the dash when possible its funny how pissed she gets.. but sometimes its scary and I feel for my life :whoa and if I don't do anything when someone cuts me off then I get yelled at because I'm too passive :chuckle

haha I honk whenever ppl ATTEMPT to cut me off.
1) It tells them they don't have enough room or that they won't be leaving us with enough room to brake if anything shall happen
2) If something happens, I can tell insurance I honked.
As a result I honk OFTEN, lol.
When ppl drive fast down one lane and start tailgating, I usally move because they might be in a hurry. But when they start weaving in and out, I either let them by or I block them off but I don't join them.
Don't be a self righteous driver, the person speeding might be in a hurry.
