I have been to Car House Auto twice for emissions test and had no problems at all. It was finished very quickly, I can see my car in the back at all times. Was given a form to fill out, paid them, and got a reciept too. Nothing wrong with customer service. They didn't even move my seating position. But then again, I was just going for an emissions test. What were you getting done there?
The owner recently gave the business to the son? The last time I was there was in March of this year.

That's a serious accusation on your part and one that really has no business being in your review. You may be upset at the level of service you were given and have every right to complain about it. But when you decide to post an accusation like this without evidence and anecdotal evidence isn't considered evidence, you put this board in a difficult position.
Keep the review objective and keep the personal remarks out.
Please give us some details as to what they did to you car and why you were unhappy with the service. Your post should be about the shop in question and the service they provided, not to take pot shots and name call.

Guys, just stay away from those mother ****ers (Car@House), 10 years ago, my brake lost function after i got it fixed over there, they told me all the brake components had been fixed and they test drove it, apparently...a month later, my mom had an accident and hit a bus because the brake didn't slow down or stop the car at all, the brake was suddenly lost its function.

Did you guys file a police report? Did they investigate the garage that did the repairs?

u know some chinese shops (I'm not saying anything bad about chinese coz i'm chinese too), paid cash and no receipt, there's really nothing i can proof to the police that i got it fixed over there a month before the accident.

Fortunately I understand what you said. The way you said comes out sounding worse.

Regardless of what or how you paid you can still register a complaint with the police. They will investigate it if they find there is just cause. The fact that someone could have been killed in an accident would have been "just cause" for the police to act. Otherwise you're just making unsubstantiated claims of criminal activity. Becareful of what you post.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a big fan of this place. My neighbour got some work done there and he was not happy.

before i got my mazda i drove my parent's BMW 535I
it was 1990 so it had alot of problems because of the age. Actually it's still here.
i went to do an oil change once and after they were done my car was all dirty all over. the seats and everything it's like they didn't wash their hands.
I was a little curious so it was a hot summer day so i could go outside go to the side and see them work on my car while i waited.
then the son comes running out to my direction and tells me very angrily.
" DON'T STAND THERE......GET BACK TO THE FRONT"
i was like ... wtf?.... so i just walked back but i thought ......this is my car shouldn't i be able to see it?
after it was done i paid cause the lady in front she was ok whatever ....
i drove out there and after about 10 mins the engine starts to sizzle up.....
and then i opened the hood the oil cap was not put in place!!!
so i called them back and i said you guys didn't put the oil cap back!
and the son was on the phone saying..... " nope we did"
the fact i didn't see them work on my car so i didn't have any evidence i could say anything.......
so i swear we never brought it back......
and a few of my friends did their emissions test there because apparently they claim their markham's fastest in doing the emission tests......
my friend drove a nice type S....... one of their apprentices was like playing around with the car as if they're trying to test it out.......
my friend got pissed but as usual if you wanted to watch them do the test they'd just kick you out....
what kind of service is that?

also for their alignment machines they have a ramp........ and most of teh time if someone has their car lowered they go STRAIGHT onto the ramp ... scrratching and sometimes damaging the lips of cars.
well at least that's what happened to a friend of mine that went there.....
so ummm yea if you want to do an alignment i suggest you go to another place where they have a lift instead of the ramp ones.

I think most alignments are done on ramps, but I could be wrong.
