I really like the look of these but afraid of drilling. Is it hard?
Does the finishing stay nice after a while? I hate to drill the OEM ones and later find these ones won't last. Comments/Feedback?!
Thanks

Not at all. Drilling through the brake pedal was the hardest as it was metal. Total time it took was 45 secs per hole. You only need to drill two holes either the top or the bottom. I found that when I positioned the holes on the pedal they were too close to the edge for my comfort. So I moved the brake pedal position up about 1/8" and drilled the two bottom holes. They fastened using the screws and washers that come with the pack. For the top two screws I used wider washers and "clamped" them to the edge of the top of the brake pedal. I read about this method from the M3F members. Works like a charm.

The accelerator pedal is even easier because it's plastic. The trick there is to take your time and make sure you position the holes evenly on both sides of the pedal because the support rod for the accelerator is located at the back, right in the middle. So if your off centre the screw will be too close to the support rod and you won't be able to thread the nut.

The dead pedal was easy for me. I had purchased a dead pedal previously and just drilled into it and then fastened my new dead pedal to it. The original dead pedal was very thin so I used it to provide enough grip for the screws. Our cars have foam under the carpet so the fasteners they gave me (plugs) really wouldn't have worked in my opinion. I've seen some guys go to Home Depot and buy a small piece of galv. alum and cut it to a size slightly smaller than the dead pedal. Using industrial velcro the put it on the cleaned carpet and then fasten through the metal with the screws. That works well too.

The aluminum finish is pretty resistant. I've seen a 1 year review on M3F by a member where the only noticeable wear on the pedals were the rubber pads.

Do you have an 06 or 04,05? Cuase by looking at it, the pedals do'nt fit 06. The brake pedal on the 06 is shaped differently

I have an 06 Pearly and they fit fine. No problems. The only thing I had to do was bend the accelerator pedal slightly. I wanted it to match the curvature of the oem pedal more accurately. Here's another way at it:

I guess i got it the other way around i guess. I remember when i bought the OEM auto pedals the brake pedal didn't fit cause the way they are shaped.

+1 but I've got the manual set. Felt the same way, cause it looked odd having the pedal sit flat one half and waaay off on the other.
