Windows XP question

I locked myself out of my home PC b/c I forgot my flippin' password. How can I bypass the stupid password?

you can log in as Administrator and reset it...assuming you remember your Administrator password.

Well...if you didn't set your administrator password when you installed Windows, you might be able to get in there. Its blank by default.

Reboot
When Windows logo appears, keep tapping F8
Reboot to safe mode
You will have an extra user called "Administrator"
Try logging in with no password

If that works, go into Control Panel -> Users, and reset that account's password.

if that works, i'd suggest making sure your account lockout policy is disabled so that you can keep guessing at it :)
