Car Washing Tips

Hey guys, I was just wondering if you could share some car washing tips, as I've read on here that the stock paint work is a shambles... my 3 GT is still waiting for its first car wash. I live close to a Sunoco and usually get fuelled and washed there (the car, not me) and am not too keen on the coin operated manual wash places - what do you think?
