Went and saw this with my son and his friend.
Story line kind of lame. Funny bits and many things to watch for. If you are a fan of the show then it should not disappoint.
There is some nudity so beware.:chuckle
There is also some stuff in the ending credits but not enough to warrant sitting through them all as we did (thought it would contain more).
Overall a 3 out of 5 for me but I'm not a die hard Simpsons fan.

I thought the movie was much better than I expected. It was funny throughout and had the audience laughing and clapping mostly from beginning to end.
It's a must see if you are a Simpsons fan

Not in the movie but my favorite Quote/song Homer sang...
"Simpson, Homer Simpson, he's the greatest man in history.... From the Town of Springfield, he's about to hit a chestnut tree... ARGHHHHH!!!!"

Saw it yesturday and it was alright. Some of it was really funny but it was kind of meh. They overplayed the bad father thing between bart and homer. Made it much more serious then it should have been.

My only complaint about the movie was that it was a little too random. Yes it had a story, but unlike the episodes, it had too many tangents. I know it's a 100 minute film versus a 20 minute episode, but still. Story wasn't emphasized enough.
But it contained the usual antics of the family, so I'm satisfied.
I enjoyed it, but felt really like it was just an extended version of a TV episode (as Homer points out in the beginning of the movie :chuckle)
I would definately say it had some good laughs.. but it wasn't the Funniest simpsons stuff ever.. which I was kinda hoping for with all the hype that was built up about it

I'm amazed at how relavent it remains, even after 18 years. There were a lot of references that if you blinked, you missed them.
I liked it.
