How to fix a cigarette burn hole for fabric seat?

Does it look like the hole will rip or expand easily? You might have to patch it.

LOL, come on guys, i heard some shop can stitch it up if the hole isn't too big, also i heard some upholstery repair shop has ways to fix it, do u guys know any shops like that? or is there way to DIY?

I don't think the hole will expand, it's just a surface burn (nothing like a deep hole), the green padding inside isn't burn, but i can clearly see it thru the 5mm hole.

Then if you don't want people to easily see the green padding, find some similar looking cloth and fill up the hole.

Where did you hear about these shops? I don't think it would be cheap. Try looking in the FS threads.. I know there are some threads from earlier this year selling their OEM seat covers. Maybe they still have em lying around.

From a frd's frd, that's what i heard b4, cuz he told me he got it fixed by a shop or something, but that guy left TO and I don't contact with him anymore, that's y I'm asking u guys do u know anything like this?

A little off topic but I have a burn outside just below the windshield, you know the plastic part were the wipers are. Some tard at work left an unfinished cigarette there.

No way to fix that rite?

try fibrenew.com and fill out an estimate with photo.... im pretty sure they have someone in kw area that does repairs for them so good luck

Pretty easy to fix burns if small in fabric and have it looking pretty good till close inspection.

Try using a lint shaver, this will get you the repair material needed, then use some fabric glue, use the collected lint in stages and go light on the glue where possible.

Helps get the colour right and if light enough with the glue, it won't look too bad and will still move ok

I had a massive 3/4" burn hole in my back seat from some shmuck. Get it professionally done. The lint shaver and glue process is exactly what the guy did but obviously he knew what he was doing used and exacto to lay the lint down and make the lines look similar to the rest of the material. If you want your seat to look new get a pro. Sorry I can't help with a contact # but this happened to me years ago. GL
