Hi All,
I have a quick question. I'm planning on hand washing then waxing the van today. Then, tomorrow I'm bringing it to the dealer for an oil change and they probably going to do a power wash.
Will that affect the wax?:bang

Did you just say "Van"?
Just tell them not to wash the car.

won't hurt the wax, you just lose some of the initial polish you get when it is first waxed. the protection is still there
Why would you want the van washed when you just cleaned it? They do a super shitty job at dealerships, it ends up looking worse then we it was dirty.

Yeah, I'm as confused as the rest are.. you want to hand wash the vehicle then wax it. Then for no reason whatsoever you want them to power wash your work off? Why? They don't even dry it properly. In fact, dealerships are known to have their lot jockeys etc wash your car. I should know. I had that type of job before. I paid respect to people's cars, but others don't care and drop the shammies on the floor etc. Think of it like sandpaper scratching your paint and wax etc.
Wash your vehicle yourself. It's better for your vehicle.
