Q&A with the Denty!

1) What is your full name?
Adam Scott Dentinger
I prefer Denty!!!

2) Where do you currently work/go to school?
I currently work at Canadian Tire on Fairview and Guelph line in Burlington. I go to school at Lester B. Pearson (also in Burlington) for auto mechanics (OYAP)
We suspect that he works and schools in the automotive industry to support a rather nasty gasoline sniffing habit . . . though, we can’t confirm it he is known to carry up to 55L of gasoline with him at all times in the car . . .

3) What were/was your previous car(s)?
My first car was a 1992 civic hatchback, with a bunch of mods such as a body kit, coilovers, rims, B16, etc etc. I traded it in for my mazda3 after a month.... the civic had too many problems, I wish I had actually taken some time before buying..... oh well
Civic to Mazda3 . . . don’t need to say more . . . perfect!

4) What was your worst job?
Dishwasher at Montana's cookhouse.... especially in the summer.....
He did tell me in confidence and I swore not to write it (ah well . . lol) that he did like when his boss Helen (they used to call her Melons) used to sweat under her huge breasts . . . Denty you are a sick man!

5) What was your best job?
My current job at Canadian tire as a quicklube technician; sure, the pay stinks, but its in the field I want to get into, and it sure beats kitchen work!
Anyone need a quick lube for cheap?

6) Tell us something rare and interesting about you.
Something rare: my left nipple is pierced.... lol
Something interesting.... dunno. nothing comes to mind
Ladies, he has his nipple pierced, and he doesn’t say too much . . can you say trophy husbad!

7) Do you collect anything?
Nope... well, i used to collect model cars....
Model cars that transform to giant robots that protect us from the evil forces of the Decepticons.

8)What has been your favourite TM3 meet/event (that you have been to)?
The Official meet the other month (Official Meet #2). My first meet, and I was able to meet/talk to all the senior forum members!

9) Who from the club do you want to meet, that you haven’t met already, and why?
Probably thebiz, or gizzmo jr.... not sure why, lol

i bought it modded, body kit, rims, GSR coilover/brakes/interior, B16 swap, intake exhaust. but i couldnt get the car to pass the emissions test, so i gave up after a month, and went new car shopping!!
p.s. i almost bought an '06 civic :whoa

atleast now when i go to Canadian Tire, I know who to look for. That is jokes you went to Pearson, so did I (7 years ago). Not sure if you already know this, but the formerly known Rainbow Butt Monkeys (now Finger Eleven) went to that school. Also, Jim Carrey is from Burlington!

ya, i know that finger 11 went to pearson, but i was at ND for all of highschool. im just at Pearson for OYAP (auto mechanics)
and my grade 4 teacher used to babysit Jim Carrey.
and my gym teacher at ND used to play for the Ti-Cats.

and it isnt that hard to afford a brand new car. my lease payments are about ~210 a month, and same with my insurance. so 1 paycheck covers all that and then some.
altho it does help when your parents pay for the lease :chuckle

and in case anyone is wondering, i park on the Fairview side of the parking lot.

it was originally 6 points for careless driving, but i fought the ticket and it got lowered to 3 points for 'driving in unmarked lane' or watever....

basically, back in march '06, i was on my way home for lunch, and it was wet out, and i pushed too much gas coming around a corner, the 4runner fishtailed, it ended up going sideways, and right before it stopped sliding, it rolled over. yupp, def. the best lunch break ever.
1 firetruck, 1 ambulance, 2 tow trucks, 3 or 4 cop cars.
at least im kinda famous for that now lol

p.s. this happened right in front of M.M. robinson highschool.
coincidently, it happened right when the whole school was on lunch, so i had quite the audience........

--numerous supercycle bikes.
--after i got tired of them breaking on me, i bought a Diamondback mountain bike. i think i dropped about $600 worth of new shocks, rims, etc etc into it.
--that bike got stolen, so i bought the bike u see right now.
--parents 4runner (R.I.P.)
--Parents Oldsmobile Alero

i spent all of tonite getting my underglow installed....
im 4 hours in, and its about half done.....lol
i just gotta bolt it on, and wire up a powersource and a switch.

im now 8 hours into my LED underglow kit on the mazda....
hopefully it will take another 2 hours to wire it into the car, and then we'll be good.

Member spotlight #1 right after I saw you a canadian tire today (by the way I am the one that waved) my car crapped out on the side of the road and I had to push it off fairview to a side street.

*update on the underglow*
it is installed, and working. my friend dave just has to fix a couple things (right now, it wont turn off, and the blue doesnt go very bright), and tie all the wires up. and presto, its done.
expect pics hopefully tomorow night.

finally got my 6000K prolumen HID's installed last night!!
and holy crap did they ever come in handy tonite on my way to sudbury!!
best mod yet!! thanks SSG for the great price!!!

2nd update on the underglow:
apparently, the computer (which is located in the first strip) somehow fried.
so the blue led's are always on, and the system itself wont turn off.....
its always on.
so last monday my friend over at Keiths Stereo ordered me in a new kit, and it hasnt arrived yet. so im hoping it will be in tomorow or monday at the latest.
hopefully all goes well.

im hopefully getting a 1100 watt memphis amp next month or so.
my friend found one laying around at keiths (where he works) and he said they just want to get rid of it. the amp retails for $1000, and my friend says he can give it to me for $500. talk about a deal and a half eh?
this will be the first step towards my new system. i'll probably start constructing the fibreglass box sooner or later...

ugh. its still gonna be a while.
cuz the guy that does the shipping and recieving set out the faulty underglow to Vadar (iirc), and now i have to wait for them to send out a new kit.
so im guessing this may take a while.....
so just be patient guys.
