Fog lights

Before i ask my question....i'm sorry if its a noob question....well i've been seeing quite a few cars with fog lights where even without turning them on you see that its yellow....like the cover is yellow or something....how can i get that? do i have to get 3000K HIDs to do that? or is there a more economical way? i just want that yellow look and have the case look yellow even without turning my fogs on....thanks

either you buy the ebay yellos fogs but those i have only seen for the base model bumpers so far or you can get this lamiex covering stuff
I am not all to sure where you can get it but i dont think it will be all that hard to find

i beleive it is just a stick on but to be sure i would ask flipdaddy and or pearly i am sure those 2 have had/have it

Has anyone tried having halogen lights and having this lamin-x protective film on? has there been problems of melting?

I've read on the MZ3 forum that a few people have had the film melt because they keep the fogs on all the time. When the car is not moving the fogs generate a bit if not a lot of heat = melt.

If you just want a yellow colour coming from the fogs I would suggest the Nokya Hyper Yellows, those are pretty yellow and economical. But it won't be yellow when it's off.
