View Full Version : Where to mount aftermarket switch?

I'm installing a small black switch and I'm trying to find a good location. I don't want to use one of the blank switches to the left of the steering wheel because I think it would look ghetto since the blanks are round and the base of the switch is flat. I'm thinking in the spot in between the airbag light and the cig lighter. Anyone have any pics of where you mounted your switches?

What is it for?
THe placement could depend on how often you will need to use it.

It's for... something. :) (nothing special, but I'll post about it later)
Used like once or twice a day I guess.

Pfft!! No secrets!!!! :chuckle
I'll have to think about this again when I'm actually near the car and can go take a look. What's the switch look like?

Thanks. I'll consider it.
In the meantime, I think I found a nicer location - just above the temperature sensor opening. I kinda want this button to be non-intrusive and semi-hidden. This spot seems to fit the bill.

heh. The only way Skarbro would put that tank in his car is if it sprayed directly at his passenger and made her all giggly. :chuckle
^ aim the purge valve so it blows up her skirt!! :chuckle
