Hi everyone, I am a new member of this great group. I purchased my beautiful 2006 Mazda 3 GT in December 2006. I got the GT with the Luxury Package, so that includes everything: leather, moonroof, etc. My beauty is black/black (the only way to go!). At time of purchase, I also had all 5 windows tinted (as dark as allowable by law), the Mazda aluminum gas tank cover and the rear lip spoiler. It looks GREAT.
In the over 18 months that I've had the car, I've only put 3600 km on it, because I work from home and live downtown Toronto. However, the times I do drive it, I fall in love with it all over again each time I get in the great cabin.
The car is great on gas (I got the 5 speed manual).
Only problem so far: Clock kept losing time. Turns out it was a known issue with many of the '06 3s, and the dealer promptly replaced the entire headunit (clock/temp etc) and it hasn't lost a beat since.
Other than that, I love it. Bought it from Oakville Mazda, I found they have the best service, incredible salespeople (non-pressuring!), and excellent after-sales support. Would recommend them highly.
