So I have the Injen CAI on my 2.3L sedan.

On Sunday when we had the big rain poor my baby was out in the rain well I was stuck in the starbucks. Drove the car for the night lightly (under 3500 RPM) and all was well.

This morning I turned on the car to have a check engine light. This lasted into my lunch hour. At 5:00PM I started the car and it was not there.

Do you think I had some excess moisture on the filter or on the O2 sensor or what happened? I take it I should not be worried unless it happens again.

maybe some evaporated moisture got onto the MAP sensor inside your CAI. (Most cause of CEL's with intakes IIRC). That or like you said about your wet filter (perhaps) pulled the left over excess into the pipe and got the MAP wet.

In the end, think about a drycharger (pre-filter) bag to help stop something like that from starting.

Thanks for the help. I ordered a pre - filter from Injen so it should help.
