If you go on M3F there's a member on there that makes them for a decent price. They're pretty nice too.

I got mine from him for $24.35 US shipped! I opted for no holes and just used industrial strength Velcro and it works great.

I made my own. A piece of scrap acrylic from Active Surplus, a jigsaw, some velcro and some non-slip tape. It took me about an hour to make a template and cut the acrylic. Total cost less than $5.00.

I'm guessing you still needed to glue the part of the velcro with the loops to the carpet rather than just putting the hooked part onto the dead pedal and pressing it directly onto the carpet, right? Lol hope that's understandable...no coffee yet this morning.

No movement so far? Where did you get the velcro? Can Tire?

Here is an idea for the adhesive...

You can buy velcro that has a sticky adhesive on the other side of it (i.e. instead of having to sew or glue it down, there is a adhesive and you just peel the paper off).

3M Command Adhesive makes a really nice one that is yellow plastic-like velcro-like things with their command adhesive on the other side -- I think they are called "interlock picture hanging strips".

Using a few of their, well-placed (think perpendicular so the forces have to act in multiple directions to disengage 'em all) may work for you....

Worth a try, not too expensive, and saves doing permanent things...
