my new mode - LED door sills

OMG I'm finally done this mod and I'm really happy with that.
This mod was the one I wanted to do before I even buy my
mazda 3.

it's approx. $45 for a set of 4 from ebay including shipping
and It took me 3 hrs to finish completely. :)

I like them but partial to the all stainless with brushed look. The EL glow ones (at least from M3F) are susceptible to water then burning out, no?

Those look really good, I bought the same ones from ebay except I didn't get the LED light on them, definitly may think of getting them now.

Sweet, I have been thinkin of the NON LED version for a while but now may reconsider. I too would worry they may get wet and burn out but then again you would THINK that they were constructed to handle that issue ? ?

it never burns and you do not have to worry about getting wet. The light is not made of LED, it is EL.
And there's a protect tape under the door sill and it covers the EL. I usually do coin car washes and
sprinkle water to bottom of doors but I havent got any issues.

Any recommendations on some good tape to put the Sills down? The stuff I got with my Standard Stainless Steel ones didnt stick very well.. Looking to replace it with something and am taking recommendations.. :)

I bought these light up sills but in red a few years back. Just a warning to everyone that they rubbed off the paint on the bottom of my doors and my doors rusted from them.

I should maybe take some pics and post the tomorrow.
