anyone down for a cruise??

Meet near Long Branch Go Station (prob meet at Marie Curtis Park accross the street, since the GO lot is likely to be filled due to the ex.

Meet time: 230
Roll Out: 300

We will be doing the Oakville Cruise as per RJ3's post.

we will do this if we have decent interest.

Great idea Alex but the location suggested is a little far for Eastenders. You might want to set the meet point at a more centralized location to accomodate members.

Just a quick note that CG Sundays often get a decent showing and these members who already have proven to show interest in Sunday outings maybe more inclined to participate provided the location.

i am ok with an east end meet and cruise . . . but i dont know any good cruise spots on the east!

i know this is a nice drive

i may suggest an east end premeet and cruise over to the west meet spot

or maybe u can think of a nicer cruise setting in the east or central area, keep in mind i get off work at 230 . .

Another nice photoshot opportunity and cruise is around oakville around lower base.... and trafalgar... Starts off as a 2 way road singles out to a one way which goes across a bridge... (vintage).. keep going down you reach rattlesnake point escarpment (milton area).. rolling hills.. 2nd or 3rd turn is a nice hairpin..... Someone map that out... Looks to be a good place for cruising. Not sure about photo ops, just that place where James_N and Kenyork and I took the pics infront of the big oakville sign on the hill.. Back drop is Lake ontario.

I was thinking about coming out, but this is the C7 cruise spot so i will wait another 7 weeks or so for a much bigger turnout :)

Guys, this will be a fun cruise. Better than highway cruises to meets. You actually drive through, winding roads up north. Beautiful sceenery. Think I spelt that wrong. LOL! I would definitely have come if I didn't plan on going to the "Wheels Direct Block Party". I will prolly be the only 3 signed up from TM3. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Ciao!

Since I work at oakville, and gone to many areas, These are the areas I found nice to cruise and take pictures....

Directions.... Since you guys are coming from lakeshore... Its pretty much go down lakeshore rd w.... and continue towards oakville.

You will pass Trafalgar Rd... Once in downtown oakville, Head towards Chisholm.
Make a left at Chisholm street.
make a left at Walkers Street down the hill
The "Oakville" sign is on the hill on your right side... Perfect place to take pictures as it looks toward Lake Ontario

i had fun on the cruise,

thx to Ryan and Scott for takin the lead on most of the crusing

sorry i was pissed off for a while there,

it wasn't cause u guys split on me, that was funny and apt pay back,

it was cause when i caught up with u guys on the cruise u ditched me!

i didn't know where u were going, i was lucky to guess the right spot!

for the record . . i went to the bank, i thought there was one on the corner, so i would be back in like 3 mins, but . . there wasn't so i had to book it to navy st.

i tried to call at that point, but didn't get a hold of a few people.

hope to see all u guys for the c7 in october!

Alex Bro.... If you called me I would have picked up..... At least you found us at Harveys.. It was a good cruise none the less... I loved the reactions of the town wondering what was going on seeing a pack of 3s driving by.

Props to the East for showing up...

The hill with the "Oakville" Sign was packed with people so we ended up hanging out for a good 30 minutes.

We ended up hitting Harveys, since everyone had the munchies... Thomas met up with us to chat. He left, and suprisingly we ended up staying at that area for an hour or so

The east missed a good photo op... We ended up taking a pic at a pier, then thinking the security guard was kicking us off, he asked us to take it in the grass.....

yo Alex I was held back at so many lights I wanted to rip someone's head off *lol*
But Ryan was quick to call and make sure i wasnt lost (not to mention everyone waiting for me just north or Lakeshore) *tear*

I didn't know where you were or where i was or where the crew went to Harvey's (took a detour LEFT on upper middle instead of RIGHT!) hahahaha

Definately good times though and I think everyone really enjoyed it and would love to do this again same time next year and have an even BIGGER turnout (maybe plan out a few things in advance like BBQ and "big finish" on snake road which we would have done if it wasnt so late)

+1 on seeing everyone at C7!

I was prepared for those occasions.... I had a spare Contact Lens holder with solution.... It sux you had to bounce early too. I hope you had fun... You are the guy with Gun metal RX8 rims right?

Serious that little detour 1flyncdnm3 was funny... Chuckie was following you and I was following Chuckie and Broli was stuck at the lights... so Chuckie and I were trying to catch up and found you so we started following :chuckle
and Broli still beat us to the harvey's now thats bootleg!!

All I can say is Alex... "how high can you jump.... I can't jump that high but I'll try..... does that count for anything?? NO it's not good enough!!" :chuckle

Wish I had been able to stay longer for the rest of the cruise and shoot but the pix came out great Ryan I'm happy to see I wasn't the only east sider to miss it... so I don't feel like I abandoned you all... had a really great time!! the one stop on the QEW was fun.... unfortunately.. for the east siders traffic was a nightmare heading out to the park.... it was times like tha I was jealous of Ami and his automatic... I wasn't sure how much longer I could deal with 1st, 2nd, neutral, 1st,2nd, neutral...and that continued for quite a while.. but oh well all part of the fun.. can't wait to see all of you again!!

C7 is the fall cruise held by the celica club, it is huge and it is awesome, type it into a search here and u will see what i am talking about pics and all!

Since I had to be back in my hood by 7 to pick up the wifey.. I took the 407.... from Trafalgar... so much for having a clean car... my whole front end is just covered in bugs.... made it to Dufferin & clarke by 6:50pm so was ten minutes early the bad news... the wifey was done 30 mins early so was sitting there since 6:30pm.....
