Cleaning grease off window inside

I used windex to clean the windows outside, but when i use it inside, it leaves trail marks... is there any better product used to clean windows? or any methods?

Trails as in streaks? Wipe your windows with newspaper or grab a phone book and tear out sheets. No more streaks!

Does that trick also work with Stoner's Invisible Glass?

It works with any cleaner. Paper towels have a wetting agent in them I believe, whereas newspaper don't.
Also, make sure that if you have tint, use tint safe products that don't have amonia/alcohol in them. Otherwise your tint WILL change colour in time.

Stoner's Invisiglass is the best. Or is it caled Invisible Glass? Whatever. It's a black-ish can with a yellow cap. The BEST.

Newspaper is good too, but don't mix it with Stoner's. Last time I did, I had ink on my windows haha

And yeah,. Stoner's is also tint safe. Nobody that I have talked to has complained about that product. :) Use a microfibre towel. :) The little ones you can get for cheap from canadian tire, walmart, etc. Just keep throwing them in the wash after a few uses :)

one tip for those using newspaper and likes. if you have a hatch, dont use it in the little triangular window in the back. the ink from the newspapers will rub off on the light cloloured plastic around these windows and leave ugly ink tracks on the plastic that are a biatch to remove.

what about tar inside the glass?

I smoke a lot inside the car and theres a thin layer of grease inside that can't be wiped off.

Any solutions?

Sorry for the dumb question, but can someone please explain to me how newspapers can clean windows without the ink comming off on the windows? Simple windex and newspapers would be sufficient?

windex has alcohol and will hurt the windows. I use invisible glass, I bet that would take the grease off.

Not only does Windex contain alcohol like S.F.W., but it also contains ammonia. I was told by Jeff at Audio Heaven not to use any products that contain ammonia on my tints.

Years ago, I got a couple of canisters of GM glass cleaner for free at a J-Body bash. That stuff is the best glass cleaner I've ever used. And it doesn't contain ammonia.

I use a mix of water and vinegar... like 1 part vinegar and 10 parts warm water... with a few pieces of newspaper works like a charm!! as for the Smoker... being an ex smoker my old cars windows were nasty... the water and vinegar will work wonders.. try it out.. after you've done it... its like "OMG I dont beleaf" it's like the cars had some kind of cheap tint hehe.. of course the amount of yellow gunk your gonna have on the newspaper may be enough to make you gag....

I have purchased from eshine, their microfibre is awesome! I have TWO dehydrator drying towels. Largest size available. Amazing.
I've heard wonders about stoner's invisible glass, too.
Seriously though. Don't smoke in your ride. Not only do you get that grime on your windows.. but everywhere, including in your seats. Good luck getting that out! I would never buy a smoker's previous car if I were buying used. No matter the price. Something to think about.

Since we are only interior window cleaning, what's the best way to wipe the inside of the back window?? It's got the defrost wires on them and I'm always afraid of breaking them when I wipe. I find it hard to wipe the glass thoroughly just because I'm trying to be extra gentle and I can't really wipe it that well in the process.

Just want to say that there is ammonia-free Windex at Canadian Tire the last time I was there. Alcohol I am not sure......
