About to bring in my 3 for the 72K service and curious to find out other experiences. I was quoted $200 plus taxes. From what I've been told it includes:
-Oil change,
-Brake service on caliper sliders and boots
-Inspect cooling, exhaust and A/C system.

i'm nowhere close to mine yet; however your owner's manual should detail what you need to get done...

I just recently did that service. I paid the $200.00 plus for the brake service, but I also did the tranny oil service and that was about $120 or so dollars. I figured the car is 3 years old and preventative maintenance is something I've always done. I will probably also do my engine coolant service in the next 3 or 6 months.

Did my tranny service at 68k. I have an Auto so it cost me like $150. Is the engine coolant flush recommended at 72k?

That is about the price for a 72km service....your owners manual will give you the details.
should include:
Front brake service (clean and lubricate)
Rear brake service (clean and lubricate)
tire rotation (if required)
Oil change
Check coolant level and stregth
Check suspension shock, springs, stab links etc etc
Check washer fluid level, check wiper operations
Clean and lubricate all hindges and locks
Check operation of lights
etc etc etc....
One of the biggest things that people don;t remember is that unless you do your 72km at exactly 72,000km's....this is probably your LAST service while you have you 3yr/80000kms warrenty....
Just somehting to think about.....of and Mazda services are the same from dealer to dealer
