Hey Everyone

A few of our members are heading to the AutoX hosted by the Mazda Sport Car Owners Club at the Bronte GO Station this Sunday, September 9th, 2007. Start time is around 8:30am, registration is $30 and includes lunch, if you don't want to compete lunch can be bought for $5 which includes a hamburger/chicken-burger/nature-bumper and a drink. I hope to see some new faces there this weekend. Even if you don't plan on competing come and check out it out to cheer those who are competing on. The 6 in an underdog but I'm currently at 4th place in our class so let's see what will happen.

I've only had a chance to compete against a Mazda3 once, so come on out and give it a try. Or come out and just have a good laugh.

Yea ill be there,

I have been out for the last 2 events and its been pretty great. Hope to see more 3's out this time.

Remember your racing by yourself so there are no other cars around you and its all about how hard YOU want to push it. Its a great learning experience.

There was a honda there last time that drove 15km/h around the whole track. It was funny, but he was interested in just learning his car.

Its safe and fun.

Hope to see you there.

Paul.

went there today...weather was terrible, cold and windy.....i watched for maybe an 1hr....my first autox spectator experience.

was really interesting...saw some old beat up cars and some nice cars (lotus elise). miatas are fast as shit. no pics

saw mazda6 paul (didn't get the chance to talk to him) and iceblaza paul. Talked for awhile with iceblaza for awhile....really nice guy.

Too bad this was the last one of the year...wish i knew about it early on...it literally takes 3 mins to get home...maybe next year i'll give it a try.

I'm in down in Bronte, near the lake

I didn't bother going to watch cause of the weather.. wasn't sure they'd even run in the rain

wouldn't mind running my car at least once next year!

Pictures are up, not to many though as the weather was not to comfortable.

I had y car drifting around near the end of the day when things started to dry up.
