towing

hey, i've seen a couple 3's with hitches. i have a 2.3 manual. im building a trailer to carry a few dirtbikes. do u think the car can tow about 300-400 lbs?. not much of a load. just checking if anyone has towed or hauled anything with their 3.

I think the 3 can tow upto 900 pounds. My old sunfire was up to 1100 I believe so you should be good to go. I wan gonna put a hitch on there to put around my 4wheeler but just haven't gotten around to doing it yet

i have a hitch on mine and pull an open trailer with one bike on it.

The GVWR is 3818 lbs for your vehicle so you should be fine, aslong as the vehicle isn't loaded with people.

yup, my track bike....that was a few days after i dumped it at the track, i couldn't even unload the bike because i was limping around and my shoulder was dislocated.

i mini highsided...and laid it down.
