Are there any wipes that make leather matte and not shiny? I believe I used the Meguiars and it was too shiny and most of all, slippery. I want something that would make the leather a little tacky. Are there any products out there that does that?

^I don't know of any wipes as I find they are ineffective, but for an excellent leather protectant (non-wipe) that leaves a beautiful matte finish, try Lexol's leather conditioner.

As for the OP, if you want shiny, you could use Armour All :p...but that wouldn't really be the best for your seats. Keeping them protected is more important than keeping them shiny IMHO.

Lexol leather conditioner. Great stuff, bought a 3L jug. Makes the leather nice and supple, with a nice shine that isn't slick.

Where do you guys get the Lexol stuff? I checked online and seems to only be available from the manufacturer.

I got mine from eshine.ca with the shampoo.

I remembered this morning of another great conditioner - Mother's Leather Conditioner. You can buy it at CT as well. It's a thick cream that you massage into the seats. Smells nice too - like coconuts :)

can't find the product on the website, sorry bud.

www.autogeek.net has lexol. Just type lexol in the search thing and you will come up with all lexol products they carry.

autogeek is great, but I haven't ordered from them yet cuz of their shipping and extra custom charges. If someone wants to put together a big order I'd be down for adding some stuff.

eshine is cheaper than autogeek, and no customs.

Pledge is indeed furniture polish for wood. Maybe stay away from that on the leather.

+1 on the mothers or megs products...have used both with good results! The megs wipes are super convenient.

no joke, my mother-in-law uses WINDEX on her wooden furniture. haven't told her about Pledge. so they buy new wooden furniture every year:loco

thanks for the confirmation.

I wouldn't be using Pledge on my leather...that's for sure.
