Hello all,

Sadly the summer is coming to an end, which means winter is not too far away. However, before winter comes along, there is one exciting event coming up in the fall.

I know a lot of you have been asking about the Fall Tour for some time now. We are very excited about this event as well and are looking forward to a large attendance this year. Thus, we, the EMT of C7Performance are proud to announce Fall Tour 2007.

For those who are not aware what the Fall Tour event is about, the event started with a select number of drivers who wanted to get together with fellow auto enthusiasts and had about only 12 fellow drivers on the tour. Since then every year after we've had a great turn out of people wanting to go for an end of the season tour. The fall tour is a non-profit event (its totally free) that is made successful by participation of the Ontario and surrounding clubs now reaching numbers of over 500 fellow auto enthusiasts. Click here for a video of one of the past fall tour events.

This highly anticipated event will occur Sunday October 14th 2007. Registration has started, so click on the link provided and register yourself. As well, you will find a link for the waiver that needs to be filled out for the day of the Fall Tour. It is imperative that this waiver be signed and ready to hand to one of the C7 organizers before leaving to start the route. So please be courteous, if you do not have it filled out before leaving, you will be holding up the rest of the line.

Pre-run with EMT of C7 and 1-2 representatives of each car club will occur prior to the Fall Tour. Please choose a representative from your club accordingly and email brandon@c7performance.com

As well, cars will leave with their club, so please stay with your club. There will be a few minutes delay between each club leaving the starting point onto the route, so please be patient. Maps of the route will be provided the day of the event and e-mailed out the day before the event.

Now we are hoping for a huge number of participants for this year. However, I need to emphasize something. As members of car clubs, we need to show the community we are serious about safety. Recklessness will not be tolerated at all at this event. That being said, the police are aware of our event and are supporting our tour. Reckless driving will not be tolerated so please keep this in mind the day of the event.
This year’s event will start on the east side of Toronto (rather than the west) in the Pickering/Whitby area and go north/east. We have arranged a special finish line at a professional race track which we will get to park and enjoy the day.

If any of you guys have any questions, concerns etc., please do not hesitate to contact Brandon (brandon@c7performance.com) or Darryl (Darryl@C7performance.com ). We will be more than happy to help answer any questions.

All being said, let’s make this Fall Tour the best yet! So register yourself and get ready for the highly talked event yet!

Take care,
EMT of C7 Performance

I was right about to post up and ask if this club gets a big turnout for this meet. I've always wanted to go, but it hasn't always run every year.. or run successfully... so it would be sweet to get out to this one

they have only had one year where it didn't run, every other year, minus the first year they have had at least 200 cars, they have hit the 500 car mark the last 2 times it was run....

Weren't we lost last year? I remember we kept doing U turns.

i hope it wasnt as bad as on the way to BubbaQ. i think a 35 car u turn was bad enough, i can only imagine 500 cars doing that :chuckle

I am in Burlington so yes I do realize you are a little farther than me, but I just can't justify driving more to get to a cruise than the actual cruise. Although I did enjoy the last 2 events I went to so we will see.

ok im a sucker for the C7 cruise and havent been to the last few so im in! Looks like the numbers keep growing so it might be worth the trip and im too excited now to pass this up as C7 has yet to disappoint :)

bubba1983
09-22-2007, 11:05 AM
im also a suckerf for this event.
as mentioned , last year they reached over the 500 car mark, and in 2004 they were really close to the 500 mark.

for you detinger, the basic break down is its a multi club invite, a cruise with a pre determined route with a big starting and ending point where everybody converges.....thats our basics of this fall tour. Its put in place to take in the colors of the season ending, and to get everyone out for one last horrrah before winter sets in.

^^ I remember '04 because I came in with the VitalMotion Crew as our TorontoAccords group was so huge that we had to split it up a little bit (and I was in kitchener/waterloo alot anyways with the crew). Absolutely outstanding turnout, especially from the cold weather as it was closer to the end of October.

that stuff is kept top secret usually till the week or so before the tour...the emt likes to keep things close nit! but im pressuring them

EDIT: UPDATE from the EMT

In the past Fall Tours, we have worked alongside MADD and this year we will be doing the same, Kawartha Chapter of Madd will be at the end track handing out ribbons and taking donations. The event will be starting at the AMC complex in Whitby on the North East Corner of the lot, the event will end at the Kawartha Downs Speedway. For those who haven’t heard of this track it is about 45min away from Toronto on the highway and has a Slots Casino and restaurants on site and has been a previous end point in our Poker Run.

On top of it all, Performance Auto and Sound will be making an appearance again. Some of the goodies entail the following:
-Giving away annual subscriptions to their magazine at heavily discounted rates
-There will be FULL event coverage in PAS Mag for the Fall tour
-They will be scouting show cars to feature in upcoming 2008 issues of PAS Mag
-They will be doing a feature on C7Performance
-They will also be scouting other car clubs

So this will be a great event for all involved. Whether your car is completely stock or a show stopper there will be something for everyone! To register please visit http://www.falltour.ca. The route will be posted on falltour.ca the day before the event and e-mailed out to everyone to the e-mail they had signed up with.

UPDATE:
the news weve all been waiting for

THE IMPORTANT DETAILS TO REMEMBER!
- CARS. DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS ARE TO SHOW UP AT AMC THEATERS IN WHITBY... SUNDAY OCTOBER 14 AT 9:30AM (showing up a little earlier is fine)
- WE WILL START SENDING OUT GROUPS OF CARS AT APPROXIMATELY 10:30AM WITH A SHORT DRIVERS MEETING TO BE HELD JUST PRIOR TO THIS TIME.
- THE TOUR WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 100KM'S OF DRIVING AND YOU WILL BE AT THE END POINT IN ABOUT 1.5 HOURS.
- THE ENDING WILL BE AT KAWARTHA DOWNS AND SPEEDWAY WHERE WE WILL PARK AT THEIR OVAL RACE TRACK.
- PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THERE IS A SLOTS CASINO ON THE PROPERTY SO IF YOU ARE 19 OR OLDER WITH I.D. YOU CAN PLAY TIL THE COWS COME HOME. (gambling is not for everyone so there is no pressure to participate but if you do, please have fun and be responsible)
- BRING CAMERAS AND TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES, WE WILL POST A LINK AFTERWARD FOR YOU TO UPLOAD THEM.
- FRS RADIOS MAY COME IN HANDY OR ANY OTHER TOOLS YOU FEEL MAY BE HELPFUL, GPS ETC. (this is a simple route and you will all have maps the day of the event. Getting lost is hard to do but there is always one lol.)
- MOST IMPORTANTLY, FALL TOUR IS ALWAYS ABOUT MEETING PEOPLE, HAVING FUN AND SUPPORTING A GOOD CAUSE. OUR CAUSE IS MADD (MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING)
- PLEASE ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT REQUIRED BECAUSE THIS IS A FREE EVENT, BRING A COUPLE BUCKS WITH YOU... KAWARTHA LAKES MADD CHAPTER WILL BE AT THE END POINT WORKING HARD TO SPREAD AWARENESS. THEY DO A GREAT JOB AND ANY DONATION NO MATTER HOW SMALL IS APPRECIATED.
- THERE IS GAS STATIONS ALL AROUND THE START POINT SO FILL UP, AT THE END POINT YOU WILL HAVE YOUR CHOICE OF ESSO OR PIONEER AS THE CLOSEST STATIONS SHOULD YOU NEED TO REFUEL.
- THE END POINT IS SECONDS FROM HWY. 115 WHICH WILL TAKE ANYONE LIVING IN THE GTA HOME IS LESS THEN 45 IN MOST CASES. .

personally i think that everybody should just meet up at our east side meeting spot (whereever that is) and just head out as a group from there...

Car count is up to 321, with still 2 weeks to go!

Roll call posted peoples,

Why the Hell is there a Waiver for a car meet?? very odd if you ask me.

because its an event, which also happens on public streets, there will also be a shit load of people participating, which means anything can happen, and organizers tend to be responsible for pretty much anything unless they have good lawyers, even then they tend to get ****ed for someone elses negiligence. imagine one moron deciding to speed hits someone in front, or what ever, the guy that got hit can sue the organizers for damages. or a genious decides to do burnouts when we get to the destination and destroys a dozen cars....

the waiver is to protect the organizers of the event from any liability

if someone pulls some dumb shit, they don't want to be responsible so the waiver covers their ass legally

it's smart, because with this many cars.. who knows what could happen, you can't control everyone's behaviour :loco

All around I thought it was an awesome day. The only disappointment was the lack of PASMag's attendence. ahh well.

The route was great, thanks to a few wrong turns I managed to get in front and take some pics. Some have turned out and some have not. 3/4s of the pictures I took are in 'RAW' format so I have to DL a program and convert them, once I do I will post in a C7 picture thread.

I gotta give props to Bubba for BBQing, organizing and leading us. Although I must say the best part of the day was our 4-car group booking it back along the route on the way home, clear as day and no traffic ;)

I can't wait to see the pics!

It was a fun cruise, a little long I might add. A little disappointed with the end meet. Everybody came and then left. So for next year I will rethink coming back. Hats of though to the C7 club, for organizing a nice curvy, bumpy, and hilly(prolly not a word) route. LOL!

^^ +1

the route was fantastic as I expected nothing less from C7 crew! Very unfortunate about the weather but yes the 4-car group flying back down those roads was... in one word... FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Coming all the way from Burlington, I was most surprised to realize even after all the excitement, still had 1/4 tank of gas left too!!!

Good to see so many Mazda3's out repping your club.

It was cool to jump on the express lanes at Kennedy Road and then zipp by the Mazda3 conga-line cruise. If there was a helicopter taking video from the sky, I bet it would have looked really sweet.

As always thanks to bubba for offering us eats and drinks. We now look forward to this every year. (j/k)

Till next year guys.
