Most of us have the One-Touch Down on the Driver's window but does anyone here have the One-Touch Down for all the windows?

if so, what's the cost?

not a chance
did you notice after you unplug the batt on BMW you have to program PW

what you may want to try is move the PW switch from driver to pass and see if it works
then maybe order some from dealer to do all 4
but its never going to possible to get them to go up and down (auto) only down

Interestingly enough, I thought this was the case until I opened up the switch for my altima - The facility is already there, just need to add an extra peg (in my case, I used a nail) to actuate it. Anyone open up the Mz3 switchbox yet?

Impossible is nothing man it is all possible. I knoiw the murano has auto up anddown on the front windows. The BMW does not need to be programmed. The way theyare programmed hold all the way down hold all the way up then the windows are programmed no tester neccessary.
Yes i fif get the switch off of you when i got the door panels. I may have another switch not sure but i wil check it out and will let you klnow. I tried opening my own switch but i dont hav a small enough alan key to open it :(

Is that even possible? Isn't the power window switch module a single circuit board (so all four switches are attached to single circuit board).

Found this but not sure if it's useful.

nope because the switches have 2 stage switches alight click opens/closes window untilreleased pressed fully it opens and closes completely on its own and there needs to be a relay/control module to make it work

just a warning from my own experience if your looking into messing with the factory window wiring. i was trying to install a set of relays so that that windows will stay on until the doors are opened and when i jumped the "ignition" wire on the main subswitch(drivers door) to 12v all sorts of hell broke loose with the center console going nuts and lots of relay clicking noise.

Are you sure you followed the right how to

this one works just you have to get your own timer (http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=54064.0)

You can use two DEI 530T window modules and it will give you one touch up and down on 4 window's.

If you have kids, one touch up is not recommended...too easy for them to catch their head in the window as it comes up automatically...that's why cars don't come that way from the factory.

yes some cars do and cars that do come like this they gave a sensor inside the seal and if there is too much restriction going up the window reverses and goes back down.

That window module is more for alarms though we are talking about the switches to one touch up and one touch down and still be able to control them manually

I don't really care about having one-touch on all the other windows... but I wish we had one-touch up on the 3.... I don't understand why they would only have one-touch down

Safety and extra cost involved in making it safe.

My 99 Golf has one touch down for all 4 windows and one touch up for the two front ones.

Mazda 3's do not yet have this option....I know that MazdaSpeed6 and top line 6's and cx-7 has it on both front windows, and I think that cx-9 has it on all the windows.

Its not a wiring issue....it a softwear issue....and there is no such option yet.

Live with it...My protege has crank up and down....no air....no power door locks....and the 'option' size for my car was 185/60/14

It's not a software issue. It's a switch issue. You don't know what you're talking about. Stop post whoring.

You guys are ALL wrong! :chuckle

It is a combination of both hardware (switch) and software (BCM). The switches must have two mode "steps" one for normal down and one for express down. These "steps" will give a different resistance, hence giving a different voltage level to the BCM (Body Control Module). The BCM software must be able to recognize these two different signals (normal and express down) then sends it back to window driver module to tell the window motor to go down how much and at what rate.

Therefore in order to get express down for all your windows, you need a switch that has the two "steps" and reflash the BCM with the right voltage threshold for the window down option.
