Do I have to remove my bumper to install the fogs / ballasts? I just want to get a feeling of how long the project will take.
Plus I really, really don't want to take off the bumper.

You don't have to take off the bumper, but it will be a lot easier to do without the bumper in the way.
Without the bumper, it'll take about 45 minutes to install.

you do'nt need to take off the bumper. Just take off 5-6 screws from each corner, move out the splash plastic piece and voila...you'll have enough room to see everything.

It also depends where you want to mount the ballasts. Based on where I mounted mine, you need to remove the bumper.

So how is the install going?
I just wonder how difficult it is compare to install HID kit for low beam.

10x easier because the h11's dot have that retard retention clip the just seat and twist

Mime is 2007 which has 9006. Does this need retention clip? or is it just as easy as H11?

9006 are so easy. All you have to do is fit the tabs into the appropriate slots and turn it clockwise which locks it into place.

I'm beginning the install now.. Having zero clue about electronics, etc.. this may prove to very difficult. I'm looking at these wires... hmm.. My engine is dirty.

K I'm screwed. Which set of wires do I use.
I have two bundles. One bundle that has a square box (why does it say h7?) + red wires (to the battery I guess?) and another bundle.. shorter with no box. What do I do?

Take a picture of what you have and post it up so we can see it.

I assuming this is the main harness? Is this needed for fogs?
