I am starting this thread to give people the chance to make requests, post their work or just straight up ask any questions about photoshop that they may have. I am by no means an expert, but I as well as others I'm sure will be more than willing to help out. If you have any websites that could be useful or even high-resolution image websites, please don't hesitate to post them up.

This is just for intrests sake and if there is enough interest there may be a posssibility for expansion. :)

will someone do a chop for me?

i will get some good pics at the C7 this weekend,

i want to see a few two tone (Orange and Black) ideas

my initial plan is to go black from the accent line up, so the hood and grill will also be black

for the front i would like to see two options

1. where the eyelids and bottom piece of grill (attached to bumper) stays orange - smooth

2. where the eyelids and bottom piece of grill (attached to bumper) go black) - agressive

for the rear, i am thinking 2 options also

1. follow the access line across and go black above and orange below

2.make the whole hatch black


i am seriously thinking about a two tone look for next year, and would love some help in deciding

i would also love to see the reverse of everything i wrote (so orange top and black bottom) and maybe an angled design also, though the car has the line for the split sorta built in.

just asking ahead of time so that is someone is willing to help out with the pics, they can tell me what pics to take of my car.

Yes of course we can do something...that is a lot of work though :)

You'll need a lot of shots...all kinds of angles and hopefully there will be a lot of sun that day. It's hard to make anything black if the car doesn't have a good reflection. It will go flat if there isn't a good reflection. I will give it a shot anyways once you have some pictures.

I might be able to come out on Sun so if I do I can help you get some shots.

Unfortunately I cannot photoshop CF, but If I were you Id have the same theme in the bottom, and have the contrast of your black cf hood.

you already have the atoy lip wrapped in blue cf.

It would make sense to do the side extensions as well.

Are you also doing rear caps to rear bumper? that would look really good!

Uggh, white (especially over-exposed white) is REALLY hard to transform properly into red (or any darker colour).

Yeah, the teal would ideally be less green, and the powder blue would be lighter (like a baby blue). But it does help me get an idea.

It's a little challenging to replicate matte. All it really is, is the removal of most reflections. Glossy is shiny and reflective, matte is satin and non-reflective

if i were you i would talk to Mat and ask him to show you some samples. different products of vinyl have different finishes even though they could both be glossy or matte black.

and Mat's service is the best; prompt communication, attention to detail, and great dedication/support not only throughout the process but after. not to mention sechemedias price (starts at $150), which is better than shinzo, jr auto or anyone else for that matter.

Thanks, I use a Nikon D7000 and a really quick 35mm/1.8 lens on a tripod for the night shots. The other x2 HDR shots were shot using the bracket function and then merged with HDR software called photomatrix.

Its the only picture I could find that had good lighting and not being too artsy. Feel free to chop out the truck bed and put a flame in the back to make it look like a rocket ship. THanks.
