I was walking through Costco today in the autotmotive aisle and something caught my eye. They were the Philips CrystalVision Ultra and rather than looking at them, I grabbed a pamphlet. After reading it when I got home, seemed to perk my interest. Here are the main points:

- bulbs are filled with xenon gas
- colour temperature of 4000K
- bulb closest to looking like an HID
- bright blue / white appearance
- must brighter than stock
- power consumption is same as stock
- DOT compliant

They are available in 9003, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007 H1, H3, H13 C (9008), H7, 9055, 9140, 9145, 880, 893 and Miniatures

I'm a novice in the world of HIDs and I have been reading threads on Prolumens and HIDs and got confused with the 9xxx series numbers when refering to bulbs :loco. Also at the same time I recall seeing Sylvannia bulbs at Walmart that stress the same bright light output as the CrystalVision bulbs.

I forget how much Crystalvision bulbs cost but i'm wondering if anyone here have had experience with them or have any option about them compared to HIDs?

Here is the website to them:

http://www.autolamps-online.com/

for these bulbs:

Philips H7 X-treme
Power2Night
+50% & Bluestyling

But I am running, OSRAM Silverstars on my 05 as temp since my damn Plug and Play kit took a shit and died...

I found those here:

but from this link many for you to choose from, Narva is a really nice company as well

ive been running these bulbs from costco for some time now. i havent had any problem with burning out or dimming. they are noticeably brighter and whiter than the stock bulbs but still not close to the output or whitness of an hid. my friend has silverstars and theyre pretty much on par for brightnes.

I installed the bulbs on Sunday (actually my friend did as I watched him so I can learn) and yes they are brighter than the stock lights. For the price I paid which is $28 b/c they were on sale at Costco, they are pretty damn good. Keep in mind the colour temperature of these lights are 4000k and the higher the colour temp, the less bright they are.
