Now many have probably seen the new Aura on the streets, which is by far the best looking Saturn around thus far... just as is the Saturn Outlook
I've overheard a lot of talk at work about them, all possitive but these car commoners don't have a clue what the cars are.... VAUXHALL's ehehehe, and it's a good thing!

Haven't looked into any details really (really don't know how much GM will crapify them for NA) but these new domestic's (hehe) will at least have a fighting chance!

Saturn Astra = Vauxhall Astra

Saturn Outlook = not sure where they pulled this thing from but an Opel/Vauxhall for sure

New Pontiac G8 GTP = Vauxhall VXR8 (I think)

Vauxhall Corsa......this would be a great replacement for the small econocrapboxes they have now!

Hopefully they lead the way and start bringing over more of Europe's models, especially with diesels!

I think they should have just sacked the Saturn brand like they did Oldsmobile, and just brought in Vauxhall... even the badge looks bettah :p

Isn't the G8 a Holden originally from Australia, same as the GTO was?

GM owns them all so it makes no difference lol... its just how they market the damn things for the regional market.

Opel/Vauxhall is GM property lol

It's a hard concept for some ppl here to understand... Chrysler, especially GM and FORD have waaaaaay better cars available overseas, however slightly more $$$ in some ranges! Now that Mazda, Honda and Toyota, and even Hyundai are pushing them harder then ever, they have to start bringing some of the goods here finaly.

man, i'd much rather drive a vauxhall than a saturn.... i know that they are the same car, but still

p.s my dad used to drive a vauxhall back in the day (in St. Catherine's where he grew up)

the astra is pretty sweet.

as for the Outlook, it share the platform with the GMC Acadia (http://www.gmcanada.com/gm/english/vehicles/gmc/acadia/overview) and is the replacement for the previous Saturn Relay minivan

sort of lost after reading that link. It says GM brought them but then it goes on 'parent company ford'??

I just hope Vauxhalls/Saturns have LSDs when they release the 'sport' versions of their cars. The handling of these cars looked awful on top gear.
