Okay everyone.. here is the situation, I have an Imac laptop... went to go to plug it in at work and noticed my power adaptor, has been chewed through.... I'm not done till 10pm so I know its too late for most stores... but anyone have any ideas locally in richmond hill where I might be able to send my buddy to grab an adaptor??? Rather not send him to Yorkdale for teh apple store, if anyone has any suggestions that would be great as I'm not sure bestbuy or future shop would actually carry this... if anyone has any ideas pls pls pls pls help me!!!!

Thanks
Will

yep tried that... bossman.... the girl at bestbuy was confused... so I called the geeksquad... and he said a specialty store or apple because of the fact that the stupid plug is magnetized.... so not everyone carries it...

I was in FS at Heartland over the weekend and was surprised to see that they had an apple section so you might want to give them a try. You're up in Thronhill if I remember right (I work right next to you, lol) I think the closest FS is on 7 and Warden, good luck

Best buy will probably have it.. they sell macs

be prepared to pay though.. I had to buy one before for a powerbook and it cost $115 if I remember correctly. expensive for a power adapter

Before you drop serious coin at the Apple Store, try BeamEcho (formerly CPUsed) Authorized seller of Apple Products and much cheaper than any Apple Store, I've been too.

I hear that, but it may be worth it, if it means saving some coin. Depends on your preference. They also have a website, though I've never ordered online with them .. I just drive out and check it out in person.

You could also try these guys ... http://www.clickonmacs.com/

Not sure where you're located but there's places out there, just need to look for them.

that was my original plan... but the break isn't near the middle... its right at the magnetic bit.... as it connects to it... so I wouldn't be able to fix it....
