OEM fogs + HIDs [Archive]

I just bought a set of OEM fogs for my GS sedan and the lens is plastic.

i was just wondering if that would present any problems if i install HIDs in it. ie melting issues.

i think HIDs operate at a lower temperature than halogens, so you shouldn't have a problem

I've got a set in the classifieds and those are glass, but to answer your question HIDs do operate at lower temperatures than halogens so no problem

thanks for the info!

and Tokic_o, i would've bought your set if it wasnt yellow :( i want to do 6000k HIDs for my fogs as well.
