CP-E - Backfiring?

Hi,

Any other MS3 owners with CP-E exhausts (TBE or CBE) experience backfiring? I'm also running a hybrid BOV set to recirc & VTA. Not sure if this is the issue or if i'm need of a tuning/EMS solution. The burps & gurgles happen a lot - and i don't mind - but approx 2 out of 10 shifts (mainly from
2nd-3rd) results in a loud backfire.... kinda worried for my exhaust. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Put your stock BOV back on see what happens. Looks like you didn't tune the TurboSmart BOV correctly.
However mild backfirings are expected with full TBE because of decreased back pressure.
If your backfires are very violent, (sounds like a gun shot) then it's the bov.
