'05 Taillights Question.

Since i recently got my '05 3. I was thinking of multiple choices to do for my taillights, either puttin in 06' or going straight for LED's. Than I thought what if I just kept them, and just changed my blinker to a bright white. /


The only problem I'm having is that, wouldn't the light still be red since my cover is red? Or is there any possible way of gettin a bright white blinker even though my taillights are still red?

What look are you trying to achieve?
LIke you said, if you have 04-05 tails, the housing is red & amber (or all red on base model) so no matter what bulb you put in there it'll still be the color of the housing. The bulbs in there are already clear since the color is already provided by the housing. Not sure whether brighter bulbs are available though.

And if you're trying to get the blinker to be "bright white," I'm pretty sure that's illegal. I believe it has to be either amber or red.

In that case. Does anyone know any places where I can do a conversion for LED's in the back? I talked to one guy, but he wants 4 parts for $460.

460 for the set of OEM LEDs actually sounds like a good price (for all 4 pieces)

if it is the aftermaket ones . . . that is too expensive!
