View Full Version : Strut Bar
Im think of getting one of these, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vibrant-Strut-Bar-Mazda-Mazda-3-2004-2006-part_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33591QQihZ001QQite mZ110184272946QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
Is that the right one? and how well do they work? i drove my friend mazda 3 who had that and i actually felt the difference but he also had Michiellen Pilots on his car vs my stock tires so i dont know if the strut bar made a difference, the tires sure did.

it will make a difference not a huge one.. but you will notice the car to be stiffer... as for ordering it off ebay... by the time you figure out shipping and duties... its cheaper to go to Vibrant themselves....
its going to my cousins house in buffalo and shipping is free

oh so then thats not too bad.. but I'd still recommend calling them to see what they are willing to sell it to you for... they are out in sauga... so its not too far depending on where you live.

for how cheap a strut bar is .. the fact that you can get ANY noticable improvment makes it worth while..

hi new here! but vibrant, megan and all that crap are very low in quaility and NO, they do not do any performance enhancment on any car. I had a 240sx not too long ago and it didn't do **** all, and i bring it to the track for drift a lot. SO then i upgraded to cusco rear and JIC carbon fibre on the front and wow, the car was giving a lot of response and handling was 10x better. Do yourself a favor, and get some high quality ones. PMALL, and all those places sell very pointless strut bars, its all for show, like upgrading exterior, but yet. you drive an auto.... You need to find THICK bars, with no adjustable ends on it.

the new vibrant one is one of the thickest i have seen.... the older styles used to suck.. but the one i have on my 3 is a vibrant and tis VERY solid... much like the one I had on my past turbo ITR...

theres a good chance that the improovment that youre feeling in your buddies car is from the better tires. tire construction and sidwall stiffness can change the responsiveness quite a bit.
