View Full Version : How to remove inner door panel???

This is not the door panel you removed when you install/replace speakers. this is the inner panel where the speakers mounted on.
There are bolts around this inner panel. I removed them all and still can't take it out.
I try to apply dynamat to the inside metal surface. Couldn't find it in the how-to section. Guess I am the only one here who think about doing this?

use some elbow grease , mabey there is some sort of silicone holding it down

Sorry! you probably didn't read my original post well.
You remove one panel to expose the speaker (this is the link you provided and this is NOT what I am looking for).
You then need to remove the inner panel where the speaker is mounted to get to the bare metal (this is what I am looking for :bana2).
I finally figure it out that removing bolts around the inner panel is not enough. There are 2 bolts to hold glass window covered by small plastic cap. I need to lower window and then remove 2 bolts.

you dont need to do all that
just dyno the spot @ behind the speaker thats all you need
