Purchased Nokya h11 stage 2 arctic white bulbs for my fogs and...
1. wattage on bulb is 80 vs oem 55 watt...will this be a problem?
2. i find the bulb does not fit snug in the fog like the oem bulb...its loose very loose....anyone else with this problem ? any fix?
thx for the help..

1. i think a 80w bulb will more or less melt the fog light harness and wires, cause of all the heat produced.

I took my '07 Sedan to Dan (Mcguyver) yesterday to install my CAI and replace my fog lamp bulbs with aftermarket. I researched it on line and even checked the manual, and it stated that H11 bulbs for the fogs were needed.
When Dan pulled the bulb out, he advised me that they will not fit and that 9006 bulbs are needed. Can anyone confirm this???
(Dan, it's not that I don't believe you... as you did an awesome top notch job with the CAI install... but later when I went home to do some research and check the manual, it still states that I got the right bulb...?????)

Look in your owners manual. There are 2 different types of fog housings. My 07 hatch gt has the rectangle housing, which is 9006. The round version is h11. Check your manual to be sure though.

Thanks Videcak.
Actually, I found the same info as well just a couple of minutes after I replied to this thread. 9006 it is.
Don't go over 55W. The ones that are 80W have the potential to damage your wiring and fog housing.

I know with my I model fogs I melted my lense with aftermarket MTEC's.
yup, 07+using 9006. why just buy a HID for fog. those cheap colored lights are very easy to be burn, then u have to reinstall a new one, thats not 5min PnP job.

I was considering getting HID's for the fogs, but I would rather get them for the headlights instead. I only have budget in place for one or the other.
As well, I'll admit that I've heard all the horror stories of the bulbs burnign out fast, the wattage damaging the wiring, etc..... but to be honest, I've been using these kind of bubls for a while now on various rides and they've never done me wrong (... knock on wood).... hahaha.
i have taken your suggestion into consideration though...
