ehh i don't know why you guys want to buy that peice of crap strut bar, it doesn't do squat to the ride of the car but give it -60% respect points, where going below 0 makes you a ricer. go find someone that has that bar, hold the middle and wiggle it, it FLEXES, it MOVES, its WEAK! its not tight at all, not to poke you in the face, but spend a bit more money and get a GOOD one that has SOLID ends, not adjustable ones. All Vibrant/Megean are ALLLLLL GARBAGE! does NOT DO ANYTHING performance wise.

That's funny, I have the Vibrant and it doesn't flex or bend at all and if you adjust the ends properly, there will be no movement whatsoever...but even if the bar did flex it would not stop it from doing what its suppose to do which obviously from your comments, you have no idea of.

+1. I like kiddies who dont know what they are talking about. Why group Vibrant and "Megean" together, as they are not the same company lol. Assuming of course you mean Megan Racing. Take note that the OMP bar is also adjustable. I suppose OMP doesnt know what they are doing either?

Fact is NO strut bar does that much for this car as its already very tight in the front end. Why spend a ton more for the same outcome? In some cars its a large difference, but not in this case.

I hope I dont have "-60% respect points, where going below 0 makes you a ricer". I mean if I did, we can set a date and hit the track in the spring with out 3's and see who has rice... :)

I agree with that as I've stated similar points in the past. But I also understand where gochickenfactory is coming from, although it seems as though he might be exaggerating on some points. It's not as weak as he makes it seem but the design is not as good as strut braces from other manufacturer (ie. GTSpec). Price is obviously a main difference there.

I have a Vibrant Strut brace but I didn't expect a drastic improvement in handling. I got it to dress-up my bone-stock engine bay and also because I got it dirt cheap ($25!).

hey, sorry if i offended anyone. I came from a 240sx background and for a fact, we stay away from megaen , vibrant..etcetc we so called weak strut bars. Due to the fact that 240sx's are shit boxes and need extra stiffness in the front and rear. Saying so, that is the reason why i came to a conclusion where people are just buying inexpensive performance upgrades just for the BLING factor. I do know the 3 has a stiff front end (i had a 04 sedan), AND i have played around with a vibrant strut bar on a 3 at the dealership that someone traded in for a speed 3 not so long ago. i popped the hood, and i was like EW, i wiggled it and it flexes, just as i thought. but if you guys say it performs, than i have nothing to say. maybe i just ran into all the shit vibrant strut bars, and you guys didn't.

and i don't have a 3 anymore, i got a 5 : D, its slammed and has a custom cold air. i'm bringing it to the track this spring as well. i wanna see what this 3 chassis wannabe can do. haha

and again, i appoligize for the ricer comment, eventhough i still stand by it :p

Does anyone know who makes solid (welded ends) strut bars for our 3? I too dislike those bolted ends. Had one on the corolla and will never put one of those on again. Welded ends ftw.
