Just want to get some opinions from members...I could get only one of these with 500 budget. I do plan on doing some long driving in the states and i get lost sometimes in downtown. On the other hand...the convenience of remote starter in the winter and alarm is also good.

I would grab the starter/alarm combo first, hopefully you'll be getting a 2-way so later on when you get the navi...you'll know when someone tries to steal it in the middle of the night.

I'll sleep easy when I have my Clarion nav installed because of my Compustar system...it's saved me a few hundred dollars already.

defiantly go for the alarm/starter combo.

theres nothing worse than walking towards your car and seeing smashed windows.

Good decision dr1ft3r,

I am in the same position, Jeff at Audio Heaven said that the biggiest mistake some folks do is to get a nice Navi of sound or video system installed in their car, then get the alarm later.

What ends up happenning is that it gets stolen from the car before the alarm system is put in.
