Got my winter tires mounted at Motor Workshop today.

They were on wheels that don't fit my car, so I needed 8 tires taken off wheels and 7 put back on (1 was garbage).

Price was reasonable, and these guys worked like a pit crew! Very fast, and I could tell they were paying attention to the details. They seemed very careful about marking which wheel goes where, and how and where they set the wheels down so no damage could be done.

They broke one of my center caps, but it was an accident.

All in all, I'm happy with them and will recommend them to others.

Yiou can only deal with vincent. He's the only one that makes the price. I'm probably going there in the next week or 2 to take out my suspension for winter.

And as i said.......those guys are awesome.....i knew you'd like going there

I was there to swop out my summer tires, they broke my wheels locks using the impact gun. And they still charge me more than other shops I have been too. :(

All they said was "it breaks easily". I've been to Speedtech and they charged $50, tires23 and they charge $60, here they charged me more than that.

Nevertheless they charged a reasonable price when i was there to swop my springs.

I don't think they should charge more then $60 to swop them out. Not when i went at least

A reminder if any of you guys plan to go there. Make sure you call ahead of time like a day or 2 before. Vincent do get pissed of if you just run to his shop without an appointment. His shop is always busy and hates being disturbed with walk ins. He hates me a lot cause i keep walking in and getting my oil changed. haha....

Motor Workshop did my old lowering springs (stechs)
I found today (while at Speed Performance), that Motor Workshop cut my bump stops.
The actual amount they cut off, I'm unsure, I'll post again when I get my bump stops replaced next week. (so that I have something to compare). But I did bottom out, and I never knew until today.

If anyone is going to Motor Workshop to install springs, you may want to request them NOT to cut the bump stops.

To order bump stops, it is a special order at a dealership (i.e. they won't keep stock). Price is below $20 for a set of front bump stops.

They cut about 50% of my bumpstop

I got my H-techs installed there, I hope they didn't cut mine since H-techs is not a big drop.

It's actually fairly normal to cut bump stops when putting on lowering springs. It's an attempt to retain as much travel as possible with the lowered suspension.

That's not to say I agree with it... but I wouldn't fault a shop for doing it.

true, it helps with handling and I never said I faulted them.
But I did bottom out, I've holes in my splash guard to prove it.
Just wish they didn't cut so much.

How much did they charge? Did they balance them as well?
