Saw this on TV last Sunday.

Late model M3 places second against mostly early model 2008s. wOOt!

I'm going through the whole episode...good find, can't wait to see the result. Its to bad they didn't make it into a 2.3 Mazda3.

I know! They actually mention the 2.3 hatch a few times, saying that it would probably win if it was in their show down. (They didn't include it because their engine cut-off was 2.2L)

I'm suprised at the JD Power rating of the Mazda3, Mazda has to get on that quality issue. But still all that said, I'm proud the Mazda3 landed in second, not bad at all. :)

To be honest the G5 should have done better, its got good quality and has a decent engine.

Go figure that the civic wins, i thought the Focus and Sentra would be more competitive.
