New to the forum

Hey guys/gals,
My name is Dan and although i don't own a mazda3 or any mazdas for that matter, I've been a car enthusiast for quite some time. I'm part of C7performance, as some of you might know through the Fall Tour. Here's a few pics of my ride. Hope to see some of ya around.

Welcome Dan. Nice ride. question. Is the rear break light assembly flush with the trunk lid?

thanx...i'm assuming you're talking about the third brake light...no it's not flush with th trunk lid. If you're talking about the tails, those are also not flush (it's original tails though..just tinted)

Thanks. My girl has the same car. When she got it back from the shop after bashing in the bumper i thought the tailights looked off not being flush. thanks.

lol..yeah, it does look really weird that it's not flush. However, that's toyota's design. I guess you notice things a little more after an incident, it's always the case.

lol..naw..i'm into the cleanliness of how a car looks. hence why i took off the spoiler on my celica and put on a clean bodykit such as the kaminari. (lambo doors were just for show)

how much do 08 speeds go for at the moment?

If you build one at www.mazda.ca, then after taxes and everything its approx. $36k. But I'm sure if you go to a dealer you could get a better quote than that. Good luck shopping :) Go for a black or white speed 3 ; )

I would be going for white..I have a black celica and the swirl marks bug the hell out of me, lol
and also, if i do get one, it would probably be from the states..much cheaper..

Hey whats going fly I just sold my celica and bought a mazda 3 sport gt. I just got it two weeks ago at Agincourt Mazda and they still had 2 07 ms3's left. I am also on C7.

they're ok..but nothing compared to the ms3...

haha I didn't mean anything bad, I just really liked the celica. My neighbour used to have one and I loved it! I actually wanted one.

get one :D jks..i've liked the mazda 3 hatch for a while just don't know enough about mazdas to actually get one. also, do you know if any mazda 3's were made by ford (seeing as how ford bought over mazda)?

I think thats the thread that talks about your question about Ford. And I can answer you that a lot of mazda 3 parts are labelled FoMoCo. The engine included IIRC.

another question fly. 05 gts ...does that come with Hids stock??

in the states, the 03-05 celicas (gt or gt-s) had the option of the JDM HIDs. here in canada, none of the celicas came with an option of HID.
