Audio/ambient Display

Hey ppl, I currently just bought a 2004 mazda 3 gt from the U.S and am not sure why i dont have on the right side of my AUDIO/AMBIENT DISPLAY anything like outside temperature, or gas consumption left,etc. Where can I get this, and how much?

the ambient temperature, and gas mileage weren't features for the 2004 model year.

Oh, but if u notice closely at the display, they are featured in the background in light tint black.Its not on, but its there. So what would that mean, i think maybe buying the sensor....?

Canadian models doesn't have these features on the 2004 model.
You'll need a sensor and such. Try searching:

I don't believe the American version of our car had that ambient temp display either.

it's more complicated than adding the sensor...

You also have to modify the firmware for the display control to accept the sensor. Your best option is to buy a japanese head unit, as it was only the JDM market that had those features in 2004.

Where do i buy the sensor, at least the temp? and the other stuff ,liek fuel consumption, etc/.

also, when i press Audio Count and Present 1, I get all the otions showing, but i cant use them since its just showing them. How can i enable them>?
