So it has been a very hard month or so.... sadly my parents had to put our cat down after having him for 18 years. One never really knows the impact that an animal has on the family until he/she is gone. After he was put down my mom really had a tough time with him not being around. So I made the decision back on the 30 November to go out and get a new kitten for her to try and cheer her up So without further adieu here he is the newest of our family TIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Picked him up at the mall at Doogans (markville mall) because the OSPCA would not allow me to adopt an animal as I didnt have proof of ownership of the house. Now I realize they don't want to allow an adoption if the animal is going to come right back... but I couldn't believe they were willing to let another animal die, instead of have a good home... to me that was just really really sad. I couldn't get proof of the ownership of the house either as it was a surprise gift for my rents. But yeah found him at the mall and bought him. Hes really cute but a pain in the a** he already scratched up my center console and the back seats of my car. He managed to escape the box they gave him to me in, and continued to do so every time I put him back in!

heheh... dogs are great... but you dont have to walk a cat... they just do their business in their box.... :chuckle

most definitely bubbs... after a month of having no pet I was going crazy... no stress reliever at the end of a rough work day, and I think what got to me the most was my cat, used to wait for me to get home at the top of the stairs, then follow me around till I went to bed where he would sleep at the bottom of the bed, it really was a lot tougher then I thought it would be.

ditto....my cat has been gone for...10 years...
he was my alarm clock, our smoke detector, and our weatherman....
i love goign to peopels houses who own cats....i pay more attention to the cat than i do them :P

yeah man I hear ya.... my other Cat was definitely the weatherman of the house I knew if there was a storm coming by the way he acted. As cute as the new kitten is... its just weird cuz hes not used to the "routine" of the house but I'm sure he'll be fine, he's already started waiting for me to get home before going to bed. hehehe

i miss my cat too.

to bad there are to many people in the house allergic to that kinda stuff.

one day when i get my own place ill own a pet, its a promise i made to myself, especially after owning mine for a bit.
