View Full Version : Food Drive Drop Off Meet - Thursday December 13th 2007

We will pre meet at La Paloma Timmies (weston and 407) at 7:30 and cruise to Fire Station #411 (75 Toryork road) at 8:00 PM.

All those with food must attend or make arrangements to get the food to S.F.W. or Me.

Anyone who is interested in coming and cruising with the club to make the donation should feel free to join us. This is a nice thing we have done and it is ok to want to come and be a part of it. So if you feel like coming out and being a part of things please do.

also if you have any last minute donations, this would be the time to bring them!

Of course, I have to be there. Got 2 boxes of food at home from the club. LOL! The firestation is 2 mins. away from my home (near the 'Collision Reporting Center'). LOL!

Good mini-meet guys/girls. The TM3 commounity has shown great spirit by contributing a lot of food to the ones in need this holiday season. Hat's off to everyone who has contributed with money or food donations. Alex (Broli), again showed great leadership in helping to organize and promote the food drive. To all those involved in helping to transport the food and join in the mini-cruise to the firehall, a big thanks also. Let's hope next year we can collect even more food.

I wanted to say a big thank you to all those who helped out with the food drive in all ways (from donation to storage to transport)

I am heartened to say we did great, we raised i would guess about 450 lbs of food and $229.00 in cash.

the meet was fun.

we went to Marco's (Effin Itai) and took some pictures of the haul, and grabbed his truck to transport the food to the firestation.

the firemen were nice about it, joke around with us, asked about our club.

one of them saved vince b4 he fell down with the heavy box (hahahahaaaa)

i will get some pictures up soon

I feel much better having helped out for a good cause and those of you that helped out and supported this should give yourselves a pat on the back as well. I hope it is bigger next year too :)

... still cant believe I contributed to almost 20% of that dough!
