I went to that gas station for a wash it says if you get petro superworks and you wash your car and then it snows or rains within 48 hours you get to wash for free!

and plus if you regulary fill up there you get points and you can just use those points which is 9000 for a free wash.

that's where i go btw and i washed it twice cause it rained.

I don't know if that helps.

Yeah Petro Canada has had that for a while now. There are a couple of other gas stations that offer simillar compensations.

I now at ESSO, if it rains within 24 hours after you get a carwash.... they will wash your car again for free. Not sure though if that is applicable for snow too.... ??????
Accumulating points for a free wash is applicable as well.

Petro is not railless = not really lowered or aftermarket rims friendly

Only place I wash my car is either Esso, or I'll just go to a coin-op. Damn it, I miss living in a house... use to just pull the car in the driveway and wash it there.

this time of year, i just go to the coin-op when ever i feel like spending ~$4 on a wash.
and even then, its just a quick spray, brush with soapy water, hose off, and if i have time, a low pressure wax....

there's no point to washing the car in this weather tho. cuz it'll look exactly the same by the time i get back home.

It's happening at the Sunoco at Red Maple (near Yonge) and Hwy 7 also.

I can't remember the last time I had to pay for an Esso car wash! I only use them through the winter, and since I need high octane, I get triple Esso points. Covers all my washes.

You answered your own statement. You paid for your last Esso car wash in the winter - with Esso points. ;)

Does your sportline have enough clearance to go over the Esso's bump or Sunoco's rail?

i've been in a car with s-techs going through the car wash at a esso.
it will scrape a bit.
assuming i think s-tech/sportline has approx same drop. (which i think it has.)

there is a petro in Oakville/Burlington with a new "GLIDE" system car wash

the entire floor moves and your car just sits on top. it's pretty cool. and it's touchless

Do you drive a Mini, a Hummer or anything in between? Try our new advanced Glide Auto Wash. Just drive on to the Park ’n Glide conveyor and choose: Touchless or ClothClean; then with the GlideForCarLovers* option, you can customize the right wash for your vehicle.

* 845 Burloak Drive, Oakville, Ont., L6M 4J7 (Burloak and South of QEW)
* 4525 Dundas Street, Burlington, Ont., L7R 3X4 (Dundas and Appleby)

Though I love driving the car, I can justify my carbon foot print for driving to Burlington to wash the car...now if it was like kitchener, I may be able to average it out...

actually...no I can't...guess I may consider switching from Petro to Sunocco once I use up my petro points...

There is Pros and Cons for touchless and soft cloth wash. I had couple of problems with softcloth wash, but i still stick to it since it gives a nice wash and its closest to my house
