Write-off MS3: Buddy-in-Bad-Times :(

Not trying to sell anything here... just need some feedback for a friend in need....

My buddy totalled his MS3 last week and wants to sell salvaged parts. From what he tells me (he's a mechanic), the drivetrain should be in working order, rear axle not so much (car rear-ended by SUV, no serious injuries).

I've PM'd a few familiar TOM members but if anybody else knows anyone/mod shops that may be interested in buying relatively new MS3 factory and mod parts, PM me please. Slow time of the year but just collecting ideas for a buddy w/ some bad luck.

This car can't be more than two years old so he should have a waiver of depreciation on his insurance policy. Let the insurance company keep it, get the full value back, and call it a day.

Unless of course there's some reason he can't claim it through insurance...
