Please post all the details of what happened. I am sure you didn't call the OPP based on a gas card and thank-you card.

Yikes... the cops? How bad does it have to get for the cops to be called?

I have to agree. The police let alone the Provincial police don't get involved in what appears to be a civil matter. They're reach is restricted to criminal matters. The only thing I can think of is that there might have been an issue of fraud but the poster isn't giving out details.

I thought i saw the manager pop his head into this thread but now his post is gone? What happened there? Oh and just to add to this, I was at orillia mazda this august with my 02 ranger as well and the higest they would give me was also 6k. I took it to northwoods in Barrie and they gave me 8k, not much choice in that matter i was clearly gettin it from Northwoods after that

Nope, that was a different thread with Agincourt Mazda and a mix up in colour on the registration.

Is there an end to this story?
Did they match the price and not give you the gas card?
Please give us all the details before you slam someone or a dealership. Giving half the story out doesn't do anyone any good.

May I ask why the they are saying no interest for the first year when it is 0% financing right now?

My bad, just saw the 72 months...

Also biweekly payments would equate to 26 payments in the year not 27.

And it won't save you any money doing it this way, it is just a method of giving the perception of a low payment, they will never tell you that twice a year you will have 3 payments a month.

OK WTF . WHY the hell would you let them take your Ranger. I honestly at that time told the both of them to get the **** out of my house and go and try to **** someone else over. Id take my business elsewhere FOR SURE. And not to mention that you thought they smoked in your new car! That would have put me right over the ****ING EDGE! Sounds like a scam to me. If you still haven't signed anything else etc. GET your truck and get the **** out! You are going to have nothing but issues with these guys for years to come.

Wait is this all a joke ??? I would hope so.

Have you picked up your new car yet or no?

Silverman helps would be a good person to get in contact with, I am sure the dealership would love to see Silverman's free advertising on Citypulse news. LOL

:pop Waits patiently. I think this is a good example of something that can happen and people should know about stuff like this (Dealerships in general and particularly this one). It's unfortunate your going through this and I hope for the best for you.

Mazda of Canada needs to know the practices of their dealerships. Trying to get you to purchase a car you didn't want by slipping into a contract not once but twice is unethical at best.

holy shit this is still going on !

This is all very strange to me,

1- being they drove the car to you at your house for you to sign the contract there. never heard of that.
2- you said they smoked in your car. Do you really think they did! I woudln't have accepted that car if they did. NO ****ING WAY!

I can't beleive you remain so calm though all this. Id have grabbed that third contract and ripped that ****er up too and got my keys to my ranger and left.

seems like everyone at this dealership is a ****ing idiot! I wonder if dealerships ever come onto these sites. I hope so.

Man the more I think about your situation the more burned up I get and its not even happening to me!

GOOD LUCK DUDE!

I don't see how it can get you in trouble, freedom of speach man. how ever your car may look gay with some stupid sticker on it.

I have an idea, why not get everyone on this form to email them (all email the same person, Id say the manager) and all tell him what we think and how we are going spread the word of what a shitty dealership he is running. I think that would make them realize that its us the consumer/customer that has the power. NOT them!

What do you all think. We have to take a stand.

Freedom of Speech does not extend to publicly slandering a company because you didn't get what you thought you should receive. Yes it appears that they did something wrong. What exactly is up for grabs and that's why the investigation needs to take place. As it stands the sales person seems to be at fault. To extend what that sales person did onto the entire company is slander, defamation and libel under Canadian Law

http://www.cba.org/BC/public_media/rights/240.aspx

As I've posted before my firm has successfully sued in court an individual who decided to slander us simply because of conflict he had with a consultant we worked with. With respect to writing the dealership I can't say it's good or it's bad. Under no circumstances should anyone write to the dealership a mention this board in such a way that could be construed that they were speaking on our behalf. This could get the board into trouble. Write to them as an average person not as a member of TM3.

Ya your right. Im just so pissed at this situation. And I am so sick of the way companies seem to not give a ****ing shit about their customers. Not saying all do but there sure are allot that still do.

Just to clarify I didn't want anyone to send an email referencing this form or the author of this thread.

Speaks volumes for a dealer to pressure a client to remove posts on a forum in exchange for a 'resolution'.

What next a correction notice in the Toronto Star and letter from all your relatives?

If everyone reading this thread could please look at this light for a second.....

yes I am very curious as to what the resolution is/was?

Perhaps the dealer read this forum and came to their senses and realized what a unhappy customer can actually do by word of mouth!
