I ordered my USB MP3 integration unit from them on December the 20th, with the order processing on the 21st. Then, all goes quiet. I've had to email this guy on January 5th, and the response I got was that he was waiting for a unit that had a "newer firmware". Fine... But since then, all goes quiet again. No email replies, no updates. What is with this guy?

The first thing I ordered for my car was the Audiolink USB. This was back in May and it showed up within two weeks. Totally love it even though it has a few minor issues.
I had a few emails back and forth with Audiolink Canada before and after the purchase and they always replied within a few days.
Maybe they have someone else looking after the emails now.
If the service ends up totally bad then you should contact The RPM Store and let them know how you feel. RPM sells the Audiolink in the States and Audiolink Canada is affiliated with them.
But on the bright side at least you'll end up with a unit loaded with new firmware.
Where did you order it from? Did you go through Audiolink or "therpmstore.com"
They should have sent it to you by now. Contact them again, and see if you can get a phone number to talk to them in person.
Depending on production they can run short at times, its happened before, but not in a while.

That page is for the Ipod Integration kit, he's ordered the USB MP3 kit which on its page does not have that message, eh but who knows maybe they're having problems with all units...Anyways a question for those who have the USB MP3 will it play if you have wave files on your player or just MP3 format?

I've dealt with RPMstore and they're customer service has been great. The kit allows you to hook up an ipod or media player to your your stock stereo.

perhaps you can buy a mp3 player that plays wav/asf/mp3 files, i think iriver has that ability. and then j/ plug it into the input jack on the audiolink unit.....
but then i think you might loose the "next/previous" function on dash/steering wheel controls....
correct me if i'm wrong~

Hey yellowmp5, I just realized that this (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=19006&highlight=audiolink) was yours. Wanna give me a hand with making a custom faceplate for this unit to fit properly in my dash? :D

Well that's exactly what I have, and Mpio player which plays all those formats, which is why I asked the question because it states it works with mp3 format only, ...and I'd prefer to use wav for the sound quality.Hopefully someone can answer your question; about funtions and mine as I tried emalling them with no response.

Like yellowmp5 said, you can hook up your Mpio player via input jack on the audiolink and play your songs through the stock stereo. You will NOT be able to use the steering wheel controls. You have to change songs through the Mpio player.

I've hooked up my cell phone before to play songs through the USB Audiolink. Its got a headphone jack in. Its useful from time to time.
