Okay who here owns a 2005 Mazda3?
and replaced there bulbs?
the reason I ask is that over the past year, I have an HID kit bulb die on me, it was the driver side
and at the time had to find a quick solution solution i installed silverstar bulbs
and that was all fine and everything
until again the friggin driver side died again, but this time with silverstar bulb?
this was only after 4 months of installation and this car is hardly drivin a lot at night
curious does anyone have this problem?
what can I do trouble shoot? any idea what could be causing the driver side to light to fail?

I haven't heard anything about it, the only thing I can think of is that there may have been some oils that got on the bulb causing it to go out, other than that I'm not sure.

I have an 05', only had one headlight bulb go so far and recently...2 1/2 years usage (driver's side also)...As for your question many things can be the cause; Bad bulb, someone touched the bulb during installation, moisture getting into the headlight assembly, maybe a bad ground, or you have a voltage regulation problem etc; etc;.

I used my stock bulbs for about a year, switched over to used silverstars, then to HIDs. Haven't had a single bulb go out yet.

I think it's simply a coincedence the Silverstar burnt out. Everyone knows that silverstars do not last long (i can attest to that as i have burnt through quite a few on my old car).

All the points mentioned above. Also check the connector on that side. Might need to be replaced. You know the black base that the bulb connects to.

The super whites I bought from Myk (group buy LED/bulb guy) only lasted a week for one and 2 weeks for the other one. :rant
