MS3 needs 5.2L oil?

i went to change the oil today, this is the first oil change and i brought a jar 5L mobil1. when they finished the job and tell me 5L is not enought, the tech end up added a bit more their sync oil for me. i remembered that my 3 only used about 4.4L every time.
therefore, is that real? speed uses 0.8L more than regular3? i am so confused.:loco
